Rowrah Hall is a family run business designed to provide a “home from home” holiday experience. All rooms are finished to the highest standards.
A beautiful cosy double bedroom with wardrobe and dressing table. Tea & Coffee facilities and a flat screen television are also provided for those who still have energy to stay awake after a long a day on the fells. A newly refurbished en-suite bathroom is also provided with double size walk-in shower. Please note: Rowrah Hall is a non smoking establishment and in order to make the rooms suitable for all guests, we are sorry we cannot allow pets to stay at Rowrah Hall. We also regret that due to safety concerns, because we have two large ponds and a stream running adjacent to the property we cannot allow children to stay at Rowrah Hall. Please do not be offended.

A very large room with very high ceilings in the oldest part of the Hall which was built in 1705 during the reign of Queen Anne. The room has lovely views over the Georgian walled garden. Our superior double room is furnished with a beautiful Queen Anne style mahogany 4 poster bed and and matching dressing table, wardrobe and bedside tables. Please note: Rowrah Hall is a non smoking establishment and in order to make the rooms suitable for all guests, we are sorry we cannot allow pets to stay at Rowrah Hall. In essence a one bedroom cottage. With its own front door that leads into a cosy sitting room with sofa and flat screen television. Upstairs the apartment has a large double bedroom with original oak beams. There are two single beds in this room that can be configured either as a super king size double or twin beds. Across the hall there is a very large bathroom with quadrant shower that has been recently refurbished. There is a small fridge, microwave/grill and toaster in the apartment. Takeaways can be delivered and there are also two pubs within 10 minutes walk. Again this is essentially a one bedroom cottage although slightly smaller than the apartment next door. On entering the apartment, you walk straight into a cosy sitting room cum dining area with a small kitchen. A fridge, microwave, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine and associated cups, plates, etc allow you to make anything from a modest meal to a full Sunday Roast. if you don’t fancy cooking, you can order takeaway from the many local firms in nearby Cleator Moor and Frizington. Alternatively there are two pubs that serve meals within 10 minutes walk. The bedroom is configured as a double with a refurbished en suite incorporating a walk in shower. With only two steps up to the bedroom this is an ideal suite for anyone struggling to negotiate stairs.
